Longueuil, Quebec, February 1, 2024 — Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will embark on a tour from February 6 to 9, visiting Ottawa, Regina, and Moose Jaw to discuss the upcoming Artemis II mission. This mission marks Hansen's historic journey as the first Canadian to orbit the Moon. Accompanying Hansen in Ottawa will be Jenni Gibbons, the Canadian backup astronaut for Artemis II.
Hansen and Gibbons will engage with students, sharing insights into their mission preparation and inspiring them to pursue their dreams. They will also deliver presentations to the general public, shedding light on Canada's contribution to lunar exploration and the Artemis program.
