Tragedy struck the Harrison family from Pawn Stars as Adam Harrison, son of the famed Rick Harrison, passed away at the age of 39 on January 20. The reported cause of death is a drug overdose, though specifics regarding when and where he passed away and the substances involved are still unclear. TMZ reports that the Las Vegas Metro Police Department is currently investigating the case.

In a statement to TMZ, the devastated Harrison family expressed their profound sadness, saying, "Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss." The reality star's spokesperson revealed to the news outlet that Adam had recently succumbed to a fatal overdose, and the family learned about this tragic incident today.

Adam Harrison, who kept a low profile compared to his brothers Corey and Jake in relation to Rick's show and store, was one of Rick's three sons. Rick has three boys in total – Adam and Corey with his first wife, Kim, and Jake with his second wife, Tracy.
