IHOP has rolled out a new initiative just in time for National Pancake Day on Feb. 13, offering its customers a chance to give back to their communities.
Called "Stacking Up Joy," this nationwide platform aims to unite people in the communities served by IHOP restaurants. Through a partnership with Feeding America, IHOP's "Month of Giving" kicks off this month to tackle food insecurity locally. Customers dining in-store or ordering online can opt to add $1, $2, $3, or more to their check total. For every dollar donated throughout February, ten meals will be provided to those in need.
Kieran Donahue, IHOP's CMO, expressed the company's commitment to spreading joy and supporting families facing hunger across the nation through programs like Stacking Up Joy.
In conjunction with the Month of Giving and National Pancake Day, IHOP has enlisted actress Xochitl Gomez to promote the initiative on social media. On Feb. 13, customers dining in-restaurant between 7 A.M. and 7 P.M. will receive a free Buttermilk Pancakes Short Stack.
IHOP's Feeding America initiative, part of the Stacking Up Joy platform, aims to combat hunger in local communities and support long-term solutions to food insecurity.
